Veijay Bhaaskar Rao is a brilliant human being, creator and an innovator, has always taken an alternate path to life, and the more difficult one than anyone else would have chosen (yes all those years of conditioning from parents and grandparents, working in best possible way for me, and I really thank them for that conditioning, especially the integrity and the ethical side of my fabric)
Veijay is an IIT’an (IIT Madras), has international and national publications (in his subject area of Ocean Engineering) to his name, Has two decades of experience of driving Change Management, Operational Excellence, Behavioral dynamics for global enterprises both at several MNC’s (TCS, Wipro) and Product Organizations (Microsoft, Symantec/now Veritas, Cisco).
Considered to be an expert in change management, Operational excellence. Vijay Worked across India and the globe extensively with global enterprises (Target Corporation, Bank of America, Master Card, General Motors, Department of Labor). Lived in several cities of USA and India.
While the constant pursuit of why we do what we do, and what makes us tick, and why some days are exciting and some are dull and why the emotional index goes high on some aspects of life and why there is no reaction on the other, have been on top of my mind (primarily started as an introspection of myself in my early 30’s while I reflect on the role, equal opportunity at workplace, rewards that are distributed in an organization, and then gradually flowing in to managing people, middle level managers across global enterprises).
End of the day all of us are cut from the same cloth if you are able to rub off the human dimension on each other, and that takes off, there is better chemistry or any other coaching needed, this is what I felt over the last two decades.
Coming from a humble beginning of a middle class parents, never had dreams of going to IIT, or working for global enterprises, I never planned any of these, at every critical juncture of my life I was lucky to find a mentor who guided me to aim for the next level (education, job, relationships, etc.,)
